Take progress pictures. You might not be jazzed about the idea of a “before” photo. Suck it up and take at least one photo anyway. You should have someone take at least a single photo each week during your weight loss program. You want to have more than a “before” and “after” photo. You need photos to document your process. This will help to keep you on track and inspired about your weight loss goals. Staying with a weight loss program is easier if you can see the results as they are happening. Sometimes simply looking into the mirror is not enough. We need a photo to compare ourselves to in order to really see how much work we have done and the success that we have had. The program helps members track how many calories they consume each day while also providing them with helpful hints about eating well without consuming too many calories. Beyond this, the system provides you with exercise tips and other hints to help you lose weight. The program is also available on the internet if you don’t think you can make it to meetings.

Balance is important. There are plenty of fad diets that tell you to cut out entire categories of foods. Most of these fad diets want you to cut out carbohydrates which isn’t a good idea. Your energy level is dependent upon carbohydrates. The key is to practice moderation when you consume carbohydrates. Resist fad diets that encourage you to cut out whole parts of a normally healthy diet. If you want to stay healthy you need to eat a balanced diet. Anyone who tries to convince you otherwise is a fake.
